Noah Nazir - Acupuncturist

After graduating in Physiology and Biochemistry at Sheffield University I worked at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield in the cardiology department.

I completed my five element acupuncture course at the college of traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa in 1984. I have been in practice ever since, using a style of acupuncture which emphasises emotional and spiritual approach to treating the whole person.

I also completed a course in the T.C.M system of acupuncture and use an integrated method of the two systems. The T.C.M  system emphasises a more physiological and physical approach to treating the whole person.

I have been practicing the sufi spiritual path for over 20 years, with the guidance of my teacher Sheikh Nazir of Cyprus. This helps my own healing and my ability to heal others.

Ahsan Aziz Chiropractor

Ahsan Aziz - Chiropractor

My interest in chiropractic began in my teenage years when I suffered
with a low back and leg problems, caused by playing football. I turned
to chiropractic for help and here my passion for chiropractic began.

I studied at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in
Bournemouth, graduating in July 2008. I have been working here at
Retford Chiropractic Wellness Centre for two years now, and have
enjoyed every minute of it.

As a chiropractor I take a 'holistic' approach to health and
wellbeing. I consider every patient's symptom in the context of their
full medical history along with lifestyle and personal circumstance,
before deciding what care and advice should be provided.

Since graduating I have completed courses in SOT, dry needing,
activator and more recently neuromuscular reeducation. I tailor each
of my treatment using different techniques to best suit each patients needs.

Sigrid de Vries - Chiropractor

Born and bred in Holland, I came over to the UK in 1992 to study Chiropractic. Since graduating in 1996, I have worked in Bridgend (Wales), Mansfield and Retford. The treatment of pregnant ladies and children lies close to my heart, and I have been honoured to have adjusted mothers-to-be as they stopped off on their way to the hospital to give birth, I have also had the privilige to assist at several births.

When using chiropractic methods, I prefer to use a combination of adjustments (you know, those moves that make your joints go 'pop'), soft tissue work (massage and stretching) and certain other specialised chiropractic techniques. Also, I have a keen interest in the holistic approach to health and have a special interest in how the mind affects the body. To this extent I use a combination of Thought Field Therapy, Reflective Repatterning and NIS alongside the more traditional chiropractic techniques.

Priscilla So - Chiropractor

I have been working at Retford Chiropractic Wellness Centre for almost four years. I absolutely love my job! I was first introduced to chiropractic after suffering with headaches and digestive problems from a very early age and thought it was normal to 'eat pills'.  I had a car accident and had lots of intensive chiropractic treatment to get me back on my feet; it was then I noticed a lot of benefits to my health overall and have since become more and more interested in healthy living.

I use a variety of techniques but mainly Activator in which I'm proficiency certified and aim to be advanced certified in the next year. I also use a technique called TBM (Total Body Modification) which uses muscle testing. Using simple muscle testing and reflex points I can help eliminate the roadblocks to health and turn on the natural healing ability of the body. This technique specifically looks if things arefunctioning properly, if not, there's a problem.

Another adjunctive technique I use is Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). When the body is in a weakened state everyday emotional stresses may not fully resolve, then at a later stage if the body experiences another stress, the old emotional response can kick in. NET enables us to find the connections between old events and our present situations. This is important because we believe that the health of your body is related to chemical, physical and emotional stresses.  Having a range of techniques allows us to find the best way to treat you as an individual.

My interests include rock climbing and mountain biking for which living close to the Peaks is a great advantage!

Charlotte Haddon - Chiropractor

Dr. Charlotte Haddon graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with a Masters in Chiropractic. She first encountered chiropractic care at the age of 14 when she injured her back through gymnastics. Being in severe pain and not being able to move at the age of 14 was very distressing to me. I am tremendously grateful I received chiropractic care at the time and I continue to this day to benefit from the amazing results chiropractic maintenance care brings to my life.

Charlotte has worked in Clinics in Sheffield and Doncaster, Charlotte treats a wide range of conditions and patients, ranging from babies, to 90 year old pensioners. She is very passionate about treating the underlying cause of pain, discomfort and reduced mobility. She is a member of the College of Chiropractors, British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.

Charlotte uses a wide variety of chiropractic methods, different people and conditions require different techniques.  Charlotte mainly uses chiropractic adjustments (these are the ones which you may hear a little pop or click) along with soft tissue work and advising patients on home exercises and ergonomic advice.
